MDC COVID-19 Projections

This website was created to inform researchers, scientists, policy makers, and the general public regarding the projected impact of COVID-19 on Miami-Dade County. We will be providing daily updates and projections for each model.

Mission Statement

Public understanding of science is instrumental in times of public health crises. Furthermore, transparency is a paramount pillar in building trust between researchers and the greater communities in which they serve. This website was created to provide those interested with detailed updates regarding the trajectory of COVID-19 in Miami-Dade County. The reports will include figures representing the number of tests performed, number of positive tests obtained, the proportion of positive tests calculated, in addition to hospital resource and hospital census figures for Miami-Dade County. Updates will be preformed on Sundays and will analyze the two-week trend and overall trend of COVID-19. A well informed public and their collaboration is fundamental to combating the spread of COVID-19 in Miami-Dade County.
